Blaming a inter-island price war with competitor go! Airlines and rising crude oil prices for its woes, Aloha Airlines recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The airline, which is seeking to stay in business, protect its employees, and honor its customer obligations, is seeking a court decision that will allow them to fulfill all three goals.
The CEO of rival go! Airlines had no comment on Aloha’s filing.
