Steve Eisner, the former chairman of advertising firm Eisner Communications, Inc., recently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection with his wife, Sara Eisner, who was the company’s Chief Operating Officer. The Eisners, who listed some $4 million in liabilities, claimed only $50,000 in assets. Under Chapter 7 protection, the Eisners would be eligible to have most non-secured debts dismissed.

Eisner Communications collapsed just over a year ago, despite once being a largely successfully advertising firm which claimed even national companies on its client list.
